Tixel®

Tixel® is a non-invasive FDA approved treatment for Dry Eye Disease (DED) that uses Thermal-Mechanical Action (TMA) technology to increase lubrication and reduce tear evaporation.

HOW IT WORKS

Powered by Thermo-Mechanical Action®, this treatment consists of short pulses (6 milliseconds) of high heat applied via gentle pressure from the proprietary, self-disinfecting, Titanium-coated tip.

TREATMENT PROCESS

The treatment consists of 40 pulses on both eyes, with 10 pulses per eyelid. The treatment area covers about 12 cm2 on both eyes. The treatment only takes a few minutes after topical anesthetic for both eyes. Four treatments are required, with two weeks between each treatment. If being used to treat Rosacea, the entire face will be treated.
